Tigard

Show more info about Tigard

In 1852, Wilson Tigard bought a 320-acre land claim with two Spanish cows. Once the electric railroad arrived in 1910, the burg became a town. Today, Tigard bustles with recreation (golf, bowling, Fanno Creek Trail), shopping (Washington Square) and culture (Broadway Rose Theatre Company) as well as its own unique salute to summer, the Festival of Balloons, each June.

Greater Portland

Tigard is located in Greater Portland, where you'll find the distinctive neighborhoods of Portland surrounded by wine country and the foothills of Mt. Hood.

Nearby cities are: Tualatin, Beaverton, Sherwood, and Lake Oswego.
