Tigard
Just about anything you find on TravelOregon.com can be added to your own personal Trip Planner. Find out how.
In 1852, Wilson Tigard bought a 320-acre land claim with two Spanish cows. Once the electric railroad chugged into town in 1910, the burg became a town. Today, Tigard bustles with recreation (golf, bowling, Fanno Creek Trail), shopping (Washington Square), culture (Broadway Rose Theater) and its own unique salute to summer, the Festival of Balloons each June.
