Wasco

Show more info about Wasco

South of the Columbia River in Eastern Oregon, Wasco is a land of wheat fields, windmills and wild natural beauty. Weathered barns and houses recall its place in pioneer history, when Oregon Trail travelers passed nearby. Modern-day explorers are drawn to Cottonwood Canyon State Park — with hiking, fishing, boating and camping on the scenic John Day River — and to White River Falls State Park, with a magnificent 90-foot cascade crashing into a large pool.

Eastern Oregon

Wasco is located in Eastern Oregon, where miles of scenic byways, alpine wilderness, working cattle ranches and basalt canyons are still the place for explorers to make their mark.

Nearby cities are: Moro, Dufur, The Dalles, and Arlington.
