Located at the base of the magnificent Wallowa Mountains, Joseph has one of the most beautiful settings on earth so it’s no wonder that it began attracting artists in the 1980s. Today, it is nationally known for its bronze foundries and art galleries. Enjoy the Joseph Art Walk, a series of life-sized bronze sculptures throughout downtown. Gift shops, galleries and restaurants line Main Street, sharing the scene with farm and ranch stores.
