Located in the vast high desert of southeast Oregon, Burns is a friendly town that cherishes its ranching and timber heritage. Outdoor activities are plentiful and include hiking, fishing and camping in forest to high-desert terrain. It’s a great stop en route to nearby Steens Mountains, the famous Malheur Wildlife Refuge and historic town of Frenchglen.
