I’m headed to Portland, Oregon at the end of March. Anybody have any suggestions on things to do, see, visit, etc?
Some end of March in Portland ideas: Portland Timbers matches, Trillium Fest, Portland Farmer’s Market, OMSI science pub.

We are staying 8 days in the Portland area, july 29 thru August 5. We want to spend at least 3 days in the Columbia River Gourge area, couple days in Willamett Valley, and finish 3days in the city of Portland. Is it worth switching hotels to Willamett or can we stay in Portland the whole time! And travel from there as our base. And if we do our concern is the drive from wine country.
