Our winemaker, Jason Bull, is fond of saying, "Great wine comes from great fruit," promising red wines with depth and balance and whites that show their true varietal character.Using just minimal intervention, our goal at Sidereus is to produce wines that provide a true representation of the vineyard they come from. We strive to produce elegant and assertive wines, both rich in flavor and substance, that serve as an expression of the land, the soil, and the season during which the grapes are grown and harvested.We believe that great wine doesn't always come from manipulating, or forcing a particular style. Rather, a gentle hand that helps to steer the harvest into becoming a full representation of what nature intended. Lush vineyards surround this hill top setting where the i door seating is vineyard chic and out door patio has a spectacular view of Hood on a clear day. Mid size vineyard with delicious Pinots. Do not miss.

Beautiful Winery and Hospitality
I really enjoyed my wine tasting at Sidereus Winery. The wines were wonderful and I bought 2 bottles the Pinot of Rose and the Pinot Gris. Zach M was welcoming and professional and described each wine in detail. Thank you Zach and Sidereus for a relaxing afternoon at your beautiful winery. 🍷

Gorgeous views & delicious wines (white & red)
New to Portland at the end of 2021 and this was our 'first real'winery outing in the area. All great things to report! Having been to a few dozen wineries and wine festivals on the East coast - primarily in Virginia, Siderus was a different and wonderful experience. Reservations were a breeze - questions answered quickly in advance to ensure a comfortable and 'good fit' for our family of four. Since 'mom' is the only wine drinker, we brought cards and books for our 10 and 11 year olds. The kids and adults loved this venue! Breathtaking views and plenty of space for us to have an Easter egg hunt on the side yard of the grounds. The cheese and snack box were enjoyed by all of us and the dark chocolates were a special treat with my wine tasting. I would say more than half of the wines were very good to excellent. *I purchased four and will likely return to replenish! The 'worst' of the tastings was still 'good' and probably excellent if compared to my last VA wine tasting! The staff was very kind and friendly sharing information of the local sights. *We checked out the Chehalem Ridge which offered a perfect short hike after our winery visit and before supper. Thank you to the owners, staff, and Zach for treating us to your 'new gigs' - glad to have such a fantastic first winery experience! We'll definitely bring future guests back if I don't have to replenish the Cab Sav, Pinot Gris, and Rose first.
