About Helioterra Wines

Helioterra Wines is a small, artisan producer of Northwest wines made in Portland, Oregon. The wines are crafted from exceptional regional vineyards and are known for their pretty, elegant, and graceful style. Founder Anne Hubatch studied Geology at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. The name Helioterra draws on geological inspirations, symbolizing Heliolite, the Oregon state gemstone (more commonly known as Sun Stone). "Helio" and "Terra" combine the Greek words for sun and earth—natural partners for grape growing.

Helioterra’s production focuses on three pillars: aromatic white wines, Pinot Noirs, and Rhône red wines. The winemaking approach is low intervention and borders on natural, with a focus on honoring the grapes and the vineyard sites selected.
