Only an hour from Portland, 20 minutes from Salem but a world away. Award-winning wines, panoramic views, and friendly, knowledgeable staff. Björnson Vineyard is part of a scenic 107-acre farm, located in the heart of Oregon’s Willamette Valley. The vineyard is planted with 28 acres of vines on volcanic (Jory/Nekia) soils ranging in elevation from 450-550 feet. Varieties include: Pinot Noir, Gamay Noir, Chardonnay and Auxerrois. At Björnson Vineyard their priorities are simple: Care for the Land, Make Exceptional Wine, and Enjoy Life’s Journey. They support these goals by utilizing renewable energy and farming sustainably to promote ecological balance in the vineyard, surrounding creeks, and woodlands. Their wine is made in small lots with minimal handling.

Enlightening experience
The views , The wine tasting , The ambiance - all were truly wonderful. Alexis our "wine fairy" led our tasting of a flight of 6 wines plus 2 specialty wines. We enjoyed every moment from learning about the vineyard and its story, to meeting other members of their club , to meeting the owners of the vineyard, Pattie and Mark. We were excited they could ship to us in Colorado however nowhere in Colorado could we purchase their wine. They have a wine tasting cruise they are hosting next March sadly my spouse does not feel up to the travel. We went here on the recommendation of our innkeeper from our B&B, Bella Collina. It did not disappoint. We left after our purchase of Argenta Rose and Pamar white plus wine skin to allow safe travels. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Great experience
We went at the recommendation of Bella Collins and had Ericka as our guide. She had fantastic stories to go with every tasting, it really helped to make the experience fantastic, as opposed to just another tasting. It’s great to hear about how the names came about. The wines were delicious as were the pretzels. They have a club that is reasonable to join. Everything about this was great- and my husband is not a wine guy.

Overall lovely experience
We loved everything about this stop on our trip. The property is absolutely beautiful and the wine was wonderful and the service was excellent. We did four wine tastings and then all had a glass of wine (Rose is amazing) while enjoying the beautiful space. Would put this one on my "will definitely return" list when we're next in Oregon.

Super welcoming vineyard!
We recently visited Bjornson Vineyard during a long stay in Amity. It was the end of a full day of tastings, so we decided to share a tasting. Our host was super welcoming and indulged us in quite a few tastes. There was water and small snacks for gnoshing. Additionally, you could order off of the menu. You have your choice of two patio areas or tasting indoors. We selected the side patio/deck. We were tapped out as far as drinking and purchasing, but I would love to return here again and start off with Bjornson as our first tasting of the day!
