Don't walk...run!!

Pro: staff was super friendly & let us check in 4 hours early. Water pressure was great! Cons: This place is nasty! I can't stress that enough. The sliding door lock came off in my hands went I tried to use it, the evacuation instructions on the door were literally peeling off. The bathroom looks like it's from the 50's with a public restroom type of toilet. The kind you use your foot to flush at a rest area type thing. The shower is itty bitty. The shower head is situated for someone shorter than 5'5", not that I was brave enough to shower in this nasty place. The combo air conditioner/heater barely put out enough heat and the bathroom heater looked as old as the rest of the bathroom. Rust in the refrigerator, cobwebs in the ceiling. Closet was almost nonexistent with weirdly insulated water pipe (?). The kicker with the room itself was finding someone else's sock between the nightstand and the wall (gross!) And don't even think about your car being safe. My husband had to chase off meth tweakers looking in our car windows all night long literally. He got no rest at all until he moved our car across the street and slept in it. If you don't care about cleanliness or feeling safe in or out of your room, this is the place to stay. If you do, be smart and NEVER stay here!

Old Property, Friendly Owners

I stayed two nights while hiking in the Columbia Gorge. I don't spend a lot of money on motels since I am only there for a night's sleep. Cons: Unfortunately I did not sleep well due to the uncomfortable mattress. It reminded me of my childhood mattress from the '60s - too soft, sagged in the middle. Owners should replace all mattresses over 10 years old. Shower was Hobbit-sized, tiled in 1950s green and had a continuously leaking faucet. Towel bars were inconveniently located and I improvised by hanging wet towels on chair backs in the living space. Furniture was old and worn (except for cabinet housing the electronics). Minimal electrical outlets available for charging devices. Pros: Friendly couple owns the place and patiently filled my ice bucket because the machine was located inside the office which was closed due to Covid. TV, microwave and fridge were updated and worked well. Not a great neighborhood but if you just want a place to lay your head for a reasonable price, Oregon Motor Motel is OK.

Motel fit our needs. Traveling as a group of four on motorcycles. Considered this hotel due to decent ratings combined with low cost (around $70). Check in was easy, room was clean. A/C performed correctly and hasn't too noisy. Beds were comfortable. All in all, would stay there again. Far enough from street that room was quiet.

This place is filthy and the owners are extremely rude. During my one night stay (ended up leaving in the middle of the night) I experienced bedbugs. When I went to the office the lady was very rude saying "no bedbug" in broken English. I left only to sleep in my vehicle (actually didn't get to sleep). I missed an entire day of work, loosing pay. Spent around 250.00 on chemicals, laundry and auto detailing. That didnt count loosing the money for the night of the room. I wanted to save a little cash so I chose a low end dump and never again will I do that. I have traveled for over ten years for work and never in all that time have I experienced bedbugs. Not only loosing way too much money, I also had to deal with the disgust and it being a baring on my mental health. I booked through Priceline and the representative said they would get back to me to make it right, well its day three and still waiting. If you're trying to save a few bucks I suggest not staying at this bedbug infested dump.

Couldn’t wait to get of there, bathroom was absolutely disgusting as well.

Absolute last resort.

I would definitely not recommend at all! I wish I took pictures about how bad our room was. There was stains over everything, smelled disgusting as well as how I would say “love stains” on the blanket on the bed as well as what appeared to be blood. 0/10 would not recommend. Couldn’t wait to get of there, bathroom was absolutely disgusting as well.
