Good layover option during a challenging trip home
This was a solid choice for an airport hotel. We had an unexpected overnight layover in Portland due to a cancelled flight. I was able to book a room after we landed around midnight, after trying some other airport hotels that were fully booked. The woman working the front desk was excellent, I wish I remembered her name (April 12th from around 12:00 am to 4:45 am). She was helpful all around - especially arranging the shuttle to and from the airport and getting us toothbrushes & toothpaste since our bags were checked. I slept on the sofabed and I was happy to have all the linens and pillows I needed right in the room, which often doesn’t happen. There were some food options by the front desk, including a microwaveable pizza that my son got (the room had a microwave). The airport shuttle driver was nice and helped with my bag. It was good to have friendly service during a challenging trip home, and the hotel was close to the airport too. Not fancy, but a good stay for us.

CUSTOMERS BEWARE!
My family and I had an absolutely terrible experience at this Hotel from the moment I checked in Friday, March 14, 2025, there were loud, obnoxious, guess drinking and partying all night long the noise was unbearable make it impossible to get any sleep. It felt more like nightclub then a hotel. The walls are paper thin so I could hear every thing, yelling, drinking, slamming doors all hours of the night. I was on the fourth floor thinking maybe the noise was coming from outside but when I looked there was no one or nothing outside. I realized there was a crazy out of control party below me. I could even hear someone say “ NO! YOU HAVE TO TAKE A SHOT!” the games and noise went on all night long and with absolutely NO consideration to the other guest. The room itself was also disappointing it had dirty carpet, an uncomfortable bed, musty smell. Even if the room was perfect, the noise level alone made this stay unbearable. If you’re looking for a place to actually rest, do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. The Home2Suites 7001 NE 82nd Ave, Portland, OR 97220, was hands down one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. CUSTOMER BEWARE!

There are better options near the airport
This is not my favorite Hilton line of hotels and I forgot that when I booked this one. As usual, the staff are great - friendly, helpful, and professional. I don't find the aesthetics of these rooms appealing. Lots of bright colors, multiple desks and countertops with one office chair, bed with mismatched nightstands, and bright art. This room has a small kitchen, which is a nice feature. It is a large room with a couch, but all the countertops and the open shelving on the wall does not seem like a good use of space. The couch was comfortable enough and there was a small ottoman. The bed was not as comfortable as expected and had 3 pillows. Usually, there is 4 pillows. The kitchen included a sink, microwave, burner, fridge, and dishwasher. It did not seem clean as one of the drawer handles had something on it and the backsplash was dirty. Plus ants. The room did not show much wear, but the room had a wet smell. Once I turned on the head/ac, it seemed to dissipate. No views to be had here. There were usb chargers plus plugins available. The bathroom had a large countertop and just a shower, no tub (yeah!). However, one of the outlets was not working. I also had to ask for a blow dryer as there was not one in the room. Zero products in the large containers to be shared by everyone were available. They were placed under the showerhead, so they splash away before you can use them. Also, there was no body lotion. Hilton seems committed to these products, but I'm not a fan and don't like sharing with others, so I'll be bringing my own toiletries in the future. However, I will not be staying here in the future for these reasons: 1. My room had a few small ants by the kitchen when I checked in. Within a day, the counters across the entire room were covered with ants and I had to move to a new room. Kudos to the staff that helped and accommodated me! 2. Breakfast. Hilton's breakfasts have really gone down hill since covid. This line of hotels offered a variety of bread items, yogurt, a couple fruits, juices, and pre-made hot items such as omelets. I chose a ham and cheese omelet the first day with sausage links, a banana (pretty ripe), and juice. The omelet did not have ham. More importantly, the omelet and sausage links were not very warm. This concerned me, so I ate elsewhere the following morning. This seems to be a trend with me and Hilton hotels.

FIND A DUMPSTERS INSTEAD
DUMP, DIRTY, HORRIBLE SERVICE, STAY IN YOUR CAR INSTEAD. RUDE EMPLOYEES, ROOMS WERE RUN DOWN, CRACKED TILE, MOLD IN BATHROOMS. BREAKFAST WAS SERVED BY THE RUDEST PERSON AND THE OWNERS OF THIS PROPERTY SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO USE THE HILTON NAME!

Hairs on bed and AC noise
For $320 a night we were welcomed with hairs in the bed on the fitted sheets. The AC made noise as if a construction crew was in our room, forcing us to turn if off altogether. At checkout the frontdesk lady did not even bother to ask ic we had a good stay. Very poor experience.
