  A comfortable stay, close to Mount Hood trails

  We had a comfortable stay at Best Western Mt. Hood Inn, but next time i'm in the area i will try to get a reservation at Timberline Lodge instead. The Inn was just a short drive from Timberline Lodge and access to a lot of the trails, and also very close to Trillium Lake where you can catch the reflection of Mount Hood in the lake. What i didn't like: (1) there was no toilet seat cover. I realize that this is perhaps to make the room more handicap accessible, but as a person who likes to close the lid before flushing, I found that to be an issue. (2) the price is quite high for what you get at around $200/night.

  Convenient and Great Value

  This hotel is conveniently located just off 26 in Government camp. We were skiing at Timberline Lodge which made the perfect stop from PDX airport to relax before a day of skiing. The breakfast bar was well supplied with both hot and cold breakfast foods. Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit the Mt. Hood area. Mt. Hood Brewing Company was walking distance from the hotel and server great food.

  Church Group Disaster

  The hotel itself is decent but the nights we stayed were insane. The hotel hosted a party for a church that took over the entire hotel. Lobby was overcrowded with church members partying. Could not go through the lobby and had to use back entrance most of the time because of the church party going on all weekend. Folks were super loud and noisy all throughout the hotel running up and down the stairs, slamming doors, talking loudly, gathering in hallways and playing card games. We had to walk around everyone all the time to get into and out of the hotel. Had to come out of my room on multiple occasions and yell at the church group after 11 pm for being to loud. Worst vacation trip I have ever made. No parking anywhere as all spots were taking by church group. Could not go to the lobby and grab water or tea without having to brush through the people crowding the area. Wife went to lobby once and did not want to go back there for anything because guys would hit on her. Hotels should have conference centers for hosting large church events like this. I could not wait until the group left so we could at least enjoy the jacuzzi hot tub and sleep in silence. They were there all day Friday, Saturday, and Sunday they checked out. My final night there was at least nice and calm. Just so many things wrong and frustrating about my stay. I have more but I think I said enough.

  Wedding at ski bowl

  I’m a best western believer…. Always clean and easy to stop and stay. Nothing fancy just a nice stay … in and out. Nice to always have a little something in the morning on your way out. As a road warrior you can always depend on BW to be a nice stay. The company also hires helpful staff. Appreciate a BW.

  Horrible stay

  Awful. Truly the managers are so rude…. . The manager Brian needs to get fired. He so rude and disrespectful. He chose to raise his voice at us for no reason… been in the service industry for years and never would have treated my customers that way!
