Wonderful place to stay well worth the cost. Isabel such a wonderful person. Our stay included bottled water, soft drinks, cookies, muffins. Breakfast was different and fresh each morning. Afternoons there was wines to drink. Great place to stay.

Best Stay in Newport
Ocean House truly feels like a hidden coastal treasure. From the moment you arrive, you sense it’s a cut above your average hotel. Perched near a quiet beach cove on Agate Beach, Ocean House offers sweeping Pacific Ocean views and a serene walking path through the trees to the sand. Its beachfront positioning makes it such a great location. The staff here go above and beyond. They were so welcoming, kind, and thoughtful. Their service truly elevates the entire stay. This isn’t a run-of-the-mill hotel — it’s more like an intimate, boutique oceanfront retreat. Our room was intentionally styled and finished with premium touches like robes, high-thread-count linens, and designer toiletries. The breakfasts are standout: freshly made pastries, thoughtful entrées, and local flavors prepared by a dedicated chef. There’s also a daily reception, afternoon cookies, and cozy common areas (indoors around fireplaces and outdoors with fire pits) that make you never want to leave. Justice is done to the property in its presentation: immaculate rooms, beautiful common spaces, and lush gardens make each moment feel considered. The architecture and furnishings reflect a seaside elegance — relaxed, warm, and inviting, rather than cold or overly formal. If you’re looking for a retreat by the sea that combines breathtaking views, personal service, and unique character — something far beyond a generic hotel — Ocean House Newport is as close to perfection as it gets. Like a Hug..
Ocean House was a lovely stay. We arrived and were greeted by staff warmly, with the kitchen smelling of fresh baked cookies. There were thoughtful activities around to enjoy the grounds. We got to enjoy a paint-by-number, which guests can all contribute to on their own time, watched whales through their spotting scopes, was provided logs and starter to have a bonfire, and used their many seating/viewing points of the ocean. There is beach access as well from the B&B. Their breakfast was so tasty and professionally made. The room itself was very clean and comfortable. I would love to come back for a week of rest and pleasure.

Fabulous gem of a B&B done really well!
Ocean house is a jewel in the crown of accommodations on this stretch of the Oregon coastline. The property has a premium position, nestled in the trees, overlooking the beach. So beautiful and serene. The ethos of Ocean House is ‘customer at the centre’ and every effort is made to make you feel welcome and comfortable. The breakfasts here are absolutely stand out and the cleanliness and presentation of the accommodation is truly immaculate. There are some lovely little touches such as freshly baked muffins in the morning and cookies in the afternoon. Beach towels and comfy garden seats strategically placed around the garden for you to make the most of the fabulous view.
