Wild Diversity

Wild Diversity is a nonprofit organization that aims to help create a personal connection to the outdoors for Black, Indigenous, all People of Color (BIPOC) & the LGBTQ2S+ communities, through outdoor adventures and education.

Some of their services include:

  • Single and Multi-day Backpacking and Camping Trips: Experience the thrill of remote trails, stunning landscapes, and starry nights while building community.
  • Environmental Education Workshops: Learn about ecology, sustainable living, and environmental justice in spaces that prioritize equity and intersectionality. From paddle workshops to storytelling workshops, there is something for everyone. 
  • BIPOC Youth Adventure Media Summer Program: Empower BIPOC youth to explore and document nature through multimedia storytelling. Through videos, participants spotlight the diverse stories and experiences within the BIPOC community, showcasing a deep connection with nature.
  • 9 Week BIPOC & LGBTQ2S+ Youth Summer Camp Program: Through daily field trips, workshops, and immersive outdoor experiences, middle and high school aged youth develop outdoor skills while connecting with the natural world.
