This recreation site is a great place for swimming, fishing, boating or even just to sit down and have a relaxing picnic.

Whether you like to picnic, fish, boat or just walk, you’ll find a pair of convenient day-use parks on the lake. Lowell, accessible by crossing over the reservoir at the Lowell turn-off from Highway 58, is a great place to take a break. Picnic areas, a short walking trail, boat access, a dock, a marina, a marina concession and a playground are just a few of the amenities packed into this small park.

Vital stats: There is no fee to use this park unless you want to reserve the group picnic area. A fee is charged and the shelter holds up to 150 people.
