Crane Prairie Boating Site

BOAT DOCK HAS BEEN REMOVED FOR THE SEASON.

This is home of the famous “cranebows”, Crane Prairie Reservoir is one of the top producing rainbow trout fisheries in Central Oregon. Osprey, bald eagles, and many waterfowl frequent the area.

This boating site has a paved boat ramp and large parking lot. There are docks and a fish cleaning station at this site as well.

Recreation Fee Site: Parking at this site requires a recreation pass May 1 – September 30. Passes are available at this site, but can also be purchased from Forest Service offices or vendors. Please check here for more information about recreation passes and where they can be purchased.
