Family-focused Recreation in the High Cascades
The Santiam Pass Motorized Recreation Area is open to both motorized (all vehicle classes) and non-motorized users (hiking, stock, mountain bikes). The family friendly area includes kiddy loops for the smallest OHV enthusiasts. The area hosts designated travel routes and facilities, delivering a sustainable motorized trail system to the public. The area has designated trails for all classes of OHV and provides a diversity of difficulties ranging from Green Circle to Double Black Diamond trails. Motorized cross country travel is not allowed.
