The Historic Grand Theatre was built in 1900 and was Salem’s premier community theatre space. Also known as the IOOF Temple, the theater was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.
Today, it is a multi-purpose theatre with activities ranging from musical, theatrical performances, and concerts, to lectures, film series, and more.
The Grand Theatre is the proud home to Salem’s Professional Musical Theatre Company; Enlightened Theatrics.
