This was part of my "Plan B" if weather limited outdoor activities during my Oregon road trip. The museum's exhibit at the time was "Pushing the Press: Contemporary Printers Redefining the Medium". The display was small but I found it very interesting.

A Skimpy Collection of Art
On a pleasant Monday in Ashland,I visited this small art museum housed in a beautiful building.I was very disappointed,because this art museum is so small.I love art museums.I was finished at this art museum within 40 minutes.On the positive side,I saw a delightful painting by Bridget Riley and wonderful paintings and creations by Jen Stark("Ablaze")("Color Cascade")Even though,it is located away from the center of Ashland,parking by this art museum was restricted to only 1 hour.

This is an interesting display venue on the campus of Southern Oregon University, small but well arranged and worth the visit if you have time.

Maybe the Art Styles Didn't Inspire Us
We were rather disappointed with the small number of pieces on exhibit and the abstract design of most. Expected much larger exhibit, considering all the floor space.
