I had a chance to talk to the owner, who seems to have a love affair with each of the cats. A guide will lead you through the grounds. All the guides I met showed respect and appreciation for the cats. I learned each cat's story of how they came to live here. I also learned that in any movie or TV show you have ever seen that features a wildcat, that cat probably lives here before it goes "to Hollywood".
Too expensive, our entire group of 13 people, 3 families, stopped in on the way to the coast but were deterred by the prices. 17$ for kids and 20$ for adults. The same price as some zoos for much less animals. We just browsed the gift shop and the entire group voted the prices were too expensive to see the park so we left.
We stopped at this big cat park and they were absolutely amazing. My daughter has a vision disability and has trouble seeing anything very far away. Brittany, one of their wonderful big cat specialists, was so kind and gave us almost a personal tour! She was so kind and helpful and made the stop even more fun than we could have ever expected. Thank you so much for giving my family and especially my daughter an unforgettable day!
We’ve been to a lot of these sanctuaries to find them kind of sad. Not the case here! All the animals here look well cared for. They were active and out, not hiding or mopey as in some other places we’ve been. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable to the animals. We found this place to be very educational and we had a good time.
Run don't walk here. We had the best experience. The guide was so knowledgeable and fun she made learning about the wild cats so interesting. She answered everyone's question and had the cats show off their power. When the tour is done you are free to walk around or join another group and hear more. We will definitely be back when we're in the area. Well worth the admission. Don't miss this fun attraction for all ages.
