After being literally abused at the only bar in Long Beach, we found this spot. Our youngest son JUST turned 21. The horrible bar in Long Beach, where we were staying, wouldn't allow us in and were horrible. This place welcomed us with open arms and treated our son great. We played pool and pinball, had great craft cocktails and lunch. Showed a young man what a joy a cool local place can be....Thank you ❤️

Good burgers very friendly bartender place where locals hang
We were suggested this place by the hotel staff where we stayed and we were not disappointed. The food was good and we enjoyed some traditional cocktails at a reasonable price but there were also lots of other interesting drink specials and if we had stayed later we might have enjoyed some of those. Our bartender was a young man and he was very congenial and it sounded like he had lived in the area a long time. We noticed that a lot of the patrons seem to be locals and know each other so that made the vibe more fun. While my sister and I are retired and at the older end of the clientele we did not feel too old for the establishment because there was lots of different people there all enjoying themselves. This would be a great place to watch a game or play trivia while having some appetizers. We had basil pesto burgers and enjoyed those. We will be back thank you so very much

After having a few drinks nearby, my group wanted to play some pool. Low and behold Merry Time popped up. Walking in you can tell right away that this place is much different from the "pretty picture" places nearby. This place is the place to come to have fun and really unwind. Would I come back? Absolutely without question

Cool sports bar with games
The folks were happy to dine a WNBA game for us. We played some video slots and bought drinks. In a town full of breweries it was nice to find a bar. A bar with a game on the big screen. And good food. Had a salad and nachos and was surprised that they were better than expected. Yay, this place! Seriously.
