⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Dining Experience in Florence Oregon
This was an excellent dining experience! From the warm and welcome greeting to the final moment, we were treated like royalty and the service was very attentive. We’ve been several times and the dinners are always delicious and gourmet. I love the lamb shank! This is one of the few 5 Star experiences on Florenece, OR. The dinner was beautifully presented and tasted amazing? Their specialty cocktails are unique and fun! The ambiance is casual elegance! We highly recommend you enjoy it.

Delicious food well cooked, bravo!
Friendly welcome and the interior of the restaurant is smart and elegant. Delicious food - seared scallops and drunken prawns followed by short ribs and sous vide filet mignon. Excellent choice of Oregon wine. By European norms, service was a little quirky - my used knife was removed from my starter plate and put back on the table for the main course. The water for the table was at room temperature and I had to ask for ice. Nevertheless a most enjoyable meal.

Fine Dining on the Coast
The Green Room is a must-visit. The food here is amazing. I had the roasted parsnip soup to start and the braised lamb shank as my entree. The soup was out of this world delicious and the plating was gorgeous. The lamb was cooked perfectly, tasty and tender, and the sides were imaginative and equally as good. It feels like a special occasion place, but its well worth a visit any day. Highly, highly reccommend.

A whole new level of dining in Forence
My wife and I swung into the Waterfront Depot for dinner tonight but there was an hour wait. I suggested The Greenroom as an option, which I had read about several months ago and was intrigued. Sunday dinner is often a mixed bag when eating out, so I had moderate expectations. But we settled in and ordered the Seasonal Salad and soup, along with a glass of Bordeaux and Pinot Noir. My wife ordered the Braised Rabbit Pappardelle and I ordered Braised Short Ribs as mains. My wife and I have a long history of sharing meals—28 years of history. I'm trying to remember the last time she refused to share. Such was the case with the Pappardelle. And my braised ribs were exceptional. Other places in town may have the view or the foot traffic, but no one compares if you're looking for a truly exquisite dining experience. Like one of the other reviewers, if I only had the dishes to go on, I would think I were in a large city enjoying an incredible meal. All the better than I'm in Florence and don't have to deal with crowds or pretentious environs. Well done Chef Wiley! Nothing against Waterfront Depot, but I'm glad we ended up at The Greenroom. You and your staff won over a couple new fans tonight.

A disappointing experience….again
Third time trying the restaurant as we are locals …..dinner for two on Mother’s Day …Food is above average , prices are a bit high , menu is limited and service is poor. Wife asked waiter how her dish was prepared and he pointed at the menu and read the ingredients to her and looked befuddled . She thanked him and commented she knew what the ingredients were but again asked for the specifics on the preparation aspect of the meal . He once again read the menu as this time he picked it up to read it again , set the menu down and said he had to service a table as the bell rang indicating their meal was up to be delivered . Upon his return we indicated we would order an appetizer while we decided on dinner ….his response was “ I need your entire order including appetizer and entree . He once again left to serve another table and they were just as confused as we were with his description on an entree …. Bottom line ,third time is the charm , average at best , cost is high and service is flat out terrible ……we are done and unfortunately not a great Mother’s Day dinner …..we were hoping this place would make it but out neighbors have commented on the same poor experience……
