Crazy’s is a Port Orford institution. Choose from homemade soups, pies, sauces, and dressings, but do not overlook their Nearly Famous Fish and Chips. The place is funky, sassy, friendly and a welcome respite for a tired cyclist.

We stopped for lunch while driving up the Oregon Coast. It's a popular place (and fairly small) so we had to wait a few minutes for a table. They were also doing a brisk carry out business. The menu is mostly fried seafood and chips. My wife had fish and I had oysters. Both were very good.....the oysters were huge. The highlight, however, was the marion berry pie for dessert. It was great. Our server was very busy but did a good job. Prices are reasonable for the area.
Prior to 2020 there were nice portions, not too big not too small. Since then portions are HALF the size so a 2 portion is two pieces that measure 2x3x1 thick. Pathetic. In 2021 we were told it was due to COVID and supply. Now what is the reason? Port Orford is on the ocean, lack of fish??
Very good fish and chips. You get to choose cole slaw or pasta salad in addition to the fries, not instead of. Get there early! We arrived a few minutes after opening and there was already a line for pickup/delivery and most tables inside were full.
This place has the BEST fish and chips! The tartar sauce is a must - I don’t even like tartar sauce, but their house made sauce has fresh herbs that take it to the next level. The staff were very friendly and polite. The atmosphere was comfortable yet lively. Every time we passed this place, the parking lot was full. And, that’s how we knew it would be good. It surpassed our expectations!
