This was a very cute spot for breakfast. It wasn't very busy when I arrived and I sat in the outdoor seating. My server was new and did a great job! The coffee and fruit were delicious. I had the oatmeal and it was a very large portion.

Gourmet breakfast find
This is one of those places that you would go out of your way for. Cozy little diner directly across the street from the fishing docks in the Bayfront district. Outstanding food. Corn beef hash and eggs is absolutely off the charts. Service is attentive and cheerful.

Make the Coffee House your next stop!
Breakfast was amazing! Ken had a waffle and I had their mushroom omelet. Their coffee is great and I enjoyed their Mexican Mocha! This family business knows how to do it right!

The Coffee House on Bayfront.
Excellent breakfast. Rather small establishment but well worth the wait especially during "the season". Unlike many breakfast eateries, Coffee House emphasizes quality over quantity - a welcome distinction. Unlike my wife, I am an eggs-and-bacon traditionalist and was not disappointed. She had a spinach and schroom omelette and loved. Our friend had the corned beef dish claiming it was the best corned beef he ever tasted and he prides himself as master thereof.

My wife wanted to go here as we visited here on our first trip to Newport 8 years ago and my wife remembered how good the coffee was. When we arrived they were doing breakfast and lunch so we opted for breakfast. My wife had biscuits and gravy and coffee and thought it was good, she said the coffee wasn’t as good as she remembered. I had the breakfast sandwich and we also tried the grilled cheese. Overall the food was good but both sandwiches had a weird taste due to the cheese. I’m not sure what type of cheese it was but it was not a good taste. The staff were excellent, they were very pleasant and helpful and because of them I would go back and try another meal. The staff was very helpful with directions and also let me know I needed to pay to park where I was. They showed me how to use a QR code or a kiosk to make a payment and this was very much appreciated. I definitely think they are worth giving a try and I would go back again.
