A Gem in Newport
Very good service. Nice views on the water. Had soft shelled pad Thai, larb, and catfish in green curry sauce. All were quite good. More interesting food than normal Thai restaurants.

Very good food and great harbor view
Dinner for 6 of us. Everyone had something different. Food was solid and service was outstanding Additionally- we had several different flavors of boba and the taro boba was the best we have ever had. We would recommend !

Flavorful Vegan
The flavors were so multi-dimensional and great! We had the Papaya salad, Ton Kha soup and Hot Basil stir fry. They were all amazing and flavorful!

Great waterfront Thai cuisine!
We really, really enjoyed our meal at Thaiport. We arrived in mid-afternoon and were not exceedingly hungry, so we decided to share one appetizer and one main course. We ordered the pot stickers appetizer; even though they were deep-fried, which was unusual in itself, they were delicious. She very nicely brought us two plates and plenty of sauce for them. We devoured them! The main course we got was a yellow curry with chicken, carrots, onions and potatoes. Again, she brought us two plates to divide it and plenty of cutlery and napkins. Once again it was absolutely delicious and we ate every drop of it and drank the curry juice. Oh yes, the view looking across Newport Bay was entrancing as well, and it was a perfect afternoon on the bay. I highly recommend this waterfront eatery!

Amazing food and service
We visited the town with my husband's cousin and tried to find a restaurant for the dinner but everywhere we went we needed to wait. Then we found this small restaurant. Luckily two tables were free inside as there were a few free tables outside but it was breezy so we didn't want to sit outside. Young lady who served us was extremely helpful with our choice. My husband ordered Thai Port orange chicken ($15) which came with rice and to drink mango milk tea ($5.50) - he loved both. His cousin ordered honey lemon fruit tea ($5.50) and ginger stir-fry ($15) which was pork with ginger, mushrooms, peppers, onions and rice - she loved it too. I had Massamun curry ($15) - pork with Massamun curry paste, coconut milk, potatoes, carrots, nuts and portion of rice and to drink I had Thai beer Singha ($6) - and everything was fantastic, probably the best Thai food I ever had. The food was excellent as was the service and atmosphere so I'm very happy to give 5 stars to this restaurant. Would we ever be nearby we will visit it again, that's for sure.
