Top Choice in Oregon Wine Country
Top notch. Clearly one of the best restaurants in Oregon Wine Country. A select menu offers excellent choices with local wines and Northwest cuisine. The maple glazed salmon and the garlicky meatloaf, topped with chef-prepared ketchup are great entrees. Both dishes are well-prepared, seasoned perfectly and presented with flair. The dining area overlooks the river in a glass gazebo. Great setting and excellent service.

Average food & service
Standard coffee shop menu; nothing special to underline. Average wine list. Limited dessert choice. Outside tables with a nice view over the river is available, but that does not make up for the average food served. There is wifi & free parkjng is available.

It COULD be fabulous, but...
This is a beautiful place to eat on the Willamette River. It's in our neighborhood and we eat here at least 1-2 x a month. We go for the ambience rather than the food. The food is just okay. The menu needs to be updated much more regularly with seasonal options. It doesn't change frequently enough. The food is disappointingly bland, usually lacking in good seasoning. The best thing they make, TBH, is the fries. The fish and chips are okay. The fried sprouts are way too oily. The hummus is tasteless. Management has changed multiple times so this may be part of the problem.

Gets everything perfect
My wife normally does not like me driving a distance for a restaurant, but we have a half a dozen times for this place. My wife constantly orders salmon since it is the only restaurant in a 30 mile radius she thinks consistently gets fish perfect. I don't like seafood so I can't comment on that. I have tried different things each time and I have loved every dish. Even the Ceasar salad was the best I ever had. The only thing that was a bit strange was the wild boar ragu I had last night. Tripadvisor has a picture posted, so you can see that it does not look like a ragu. But it tasted absolutely amazing, and very different from anything else I have ever had. It was an experience.

Wow, this place knocks it out of the park!
Wow, this place knocks it out of the park! The view, the food, the service, and price! We heard about it, and it definitely lives up to all the hype!! my husband, had the shrimp and grits. I had the wild boar Ragu. Both were outstanding! The Cobb salad that we shared beforehand was perfect!! We both had enough leftovers for an entire another meal, because the portions were very generous. We will definitely return!
