much better alternative to fast food...but again, they're not slow, either.
great place for a variety of reasons: good varied menu, quick and personal service, reasonably priced, and atmosphere is good. i had the chili dog and it rivaled my favorite burger joint in the los angeles area, so that's pretty good for the southern oregon coast.

Grease pit
If you like grease, this is the place. The hand-dipped corn dogs were no more than cheap tasting dogs with a thin coating of batter. The batter is the same as that of pancake batter. They are not crunchy but they are very greasy. The oil runs down the corn dog and makes a puddle at the end. When the bottom of the dog's batter is completely engulfed in the grease, it's slops off the dog into the basket. It really is gross. The fries were under cooked and quite greasy as well. Fries aren't suppose to sag. Those particular fries when fully cooked and at the correct temperature, are crispy. I believe not only was the fries under cooked but both them and the corn dogs were cooked at too low of temperature. The chili would have been great if it was hotter than a degree above room temp. I'm shocked at all the good reviews. We'll never go back. It's truly one of the grossest places I've ever eaten. Nasty! lol, really, it is. lol Spent $27 for baskets of grease with sagging fries and dough. lol. Seriously, gross! One consolation, the staff is very friendly.

Very good diner
If you fancy a tasty burger and fries, and perhaps a milkshake, this is the place for you. We actually shared a chicken sandwich and fries and this was also very tasty. A good option for kids is the chicken nuggets and fries. Also, their milkshakes are very tasty. The large milkshake is a considerable size, so smaller kids might have a challenge devouring all of it. The staff were very friendly. Indeed, they were very understanding when the kids made a mess. And the prices are quite reasonable.

Great food, unacceptable customer service
We were craving a burger after feasting on seafood days before and we prefer mom and pop places to chains, so came here based on reviews. The burger was great, tender and juicy, and made to order. Fries also, served hot and fresh and seasoning was tasty. All good! However, my wife and I both ordered a vanilla shake, but when the waitress brought them out, she said here are your banana twisters. We looked at them and said "we ordered vanilla shakes". She said this was what you ordered, we said no we ordered vanilla shakes. She took them back and returned with the vanilla shakes, slamming them down on the table and walking away without a word. Everyone in the restaurant observed this. We finished our meal, paid and left. I guess I would still recommend this place if you do carryout, but I would not recommend for dining in because of the behavior of this immature waitress. Anyone can make a mistake, but it's how you deal with it that makes all the difference. I rate them a 5 for the food, but a 1 for service.

Don't do an hour before closing....
Don't go in an hour before they close, they will say they have an hour wait. In other words, we don't want to serve you. I get it, it sucks making minimum wage etc., But you are at will, quit and better yourself in career other than literally flipping burgers. Or stay and be miserable.... What a pathetic choice to make when one is like 21 years old. Good luck at never being happy in life:)
