Fine dining: incredible all the way around
After parking on the street right in front of the door, we were warmly greeted. Walking through the bar, we entered the main dining room with modern decor, and a view of the open kitchen. We were graced with a free hors d'oeuvre that was almost too beautiful to eat. Our main courses of halibut Normandy and linguini with crab, both extremely reasonably priced, were works of art to view and to tickle the taste buds. Patricia treated us royally! We spent twice as much on meals on our trip for much, much less wonderful food.

Excellent meal
Went here with a large group and everyone loved their food. I had one of the halibut dishes (there were several) and was excellent. The table shared several of the desserts and enjoyed them all. We had very good service. Given the quality of the food, the prices were reasonable.

A Pleasant Experience and Surpassed our Expectations
The staff were all welcoming and very gracious. Smiles and positive attitudes throughout. The decor was relaxing, and comfortable, optional upstairs view of the bay was a plus. Our server was amazing, attentive and very professional. Now to the food, the best part. Everything was perfect, tastes-flavors were out of this world as well as presentation. We were visiting from out of town and wanted to dine at a quality restaurant with a variety of good food options, the O did not disappoint. We found ourselves struggling to decide on what we wanted because there were so many really wonderful options. We opted for the pasta, which was spot on. I highly recommend and definitely will go back to try out the remainder of the menu next time we travel through. The O will not disappoint, best bang for the $$$ and enjoyable experience!

Amazing dinning experience
On our trip from Seattle to San Francisco, we stayed in Coos Bay and we had the chance to dine at the O restaurant. In a modern setting, we enjoyed innovative cuisine. Everything was very delicious and beautifully presented, especially the spaghetti carbonara prepared in front of us and flambéed in a wheel of parmesan. A special mention goes to our waitress Patrizia, who was extremely professional, attentive and very friendly. Olivier from Switzerland

Ok, would never go again, not my cup of tea.
Two of us had filet mignon, the meat portion was a half dollar size and about an inch thick, when the thickness is so small it’s hard for the meat to be moist. To save time restaurants ask if you want in cut in half so it cooks faster, I always say no. It tasted similar to that. My husband had Halibut which he enjoyed very much. Service was good! But nothing spectacular for the price. Question though, what can you expect in a small town? I guess I expected good food not weird food, eye of the beholder I guess! I can hear chef Gordon in my ear saying 38 bucks for about 2 ounces, what?
