We came upon this place while driving through Bend. What a great find. The food was excellent, the view superb and our server Phenomenal. Yes Payton was excellent. Suggesting the spicy spaghetti and Caesar salad was the perfect combo after driving for several hours. This restaurant sits along the Deschutes river and has great views. Payton was prompt, great suggestions and was open to hear a couple of old people describe our Dallas trip to see AC/DC last April. A great guy. Now Payton, try the tiramisu at Costco…. LOL

Simply great…
After being disappointed by another restaurant where we had reservations for the evening, Pastini was a welcome and pleasant surprise. The menu, while simple was perfectly executed, and just what you would hope for as a hungry traveler. All of the staff were friendly, helpful service oriented excellent… Not easy to do these days I must emphasize the staff were amazing. The atmosphere was quite hospitable and made our evening one to remember. The food is great. This is simple Italian fare. Do not mistake simple with something negative. Each element of the meal was done to perfection and we appreciated all of it. We’ll be back.

Great Value and Menu
Spent our last evening of vacation here and thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Had delicious chicken picata linguine and spicy shrimp scampi. The sauces showed flair and both pastas were perfectly cooked. Portions are generous. Overall, the menu is much more reasonably priced than many Bend recommended restaurants here on TripAdvisor. Also, the restaurant is well run. Hosts continually facilitated the flow of customers and clearing of tables. Electronic monitoring of the waitlist was a plus; you can see exactly where you are in the line on a busy night. Once seated, we were not rushed and our waiter was gracious and hardworking, exactly what you expect on an evening out.

Excellent Italian place
Huge menu. Very good food. A little pricey, but in a tourist area...and they have discounted lunch specials which are pretty reasonably priced. Excellent fast service. Great location along the river.

I'm in Bend Oregon on business. I did not feel like going out for dinner and I was in the mood for some good Italian pasta. I checked Trip Advisor like I normally do when I'm out of town or state. The reviews for Pastini's were mostly positive so I ordered and had it delivered from Grub Hub. Unfortunately it was not very good. The marinara sauce was very bland. Almost like ketchup. The meat balls were ok but not great. Ordered a side of garlic bread. Unfortunately that was the highlight of my meal. Maybe I'm used to a more robust sauce. Not sure.
