Wife had halibut fish & chips and I had chicken fried steak and eggs (they serve breakfast all day). Seating is limited but worth it, we both loved our food. Will return next time in Newport!
I’ve been wanting to try this place for a long time . I’m surprised how many places at the beach don’t offer a seafood omelet . This place will make it any way you want . It was as good as any I’ve had , and I’ve had quite a few . The waitress was friendly and efficient, and the price was reasonable. The place isn’t an eyecatcher on the outside, but it’s neat and clean . An early era diner would be my opinion . I’m looking forward to coming back !
Delicious. Good value. Friendly service, Cute local diner ambience. We enjoyed the fresh crab and the amazing fish and chips.
Been wanting to try this place for years, but honestly usually too crowded! This time snuck in at 11:30, and boy it filled up fast after that. I had the seafood burrito(the first time I've ever qualified for the senior menu anywhere) and boy that was a lot of food. Never had that type of burrito before, and the scallops were a great addition. Tried it again a couple of days later--still good food(guacamole burger) but time took it to go due to large crowd. Had to wait a while, only reason it's not 5 stars, but for the size kitchen and the amount of people, made sense. Glad we stopped.
Don't recommend it. The help is rude. They told me when I cashed out that they expected 25% tip and it was already loaded.
