We saw this on the Internet while looking for somewhere to eat while travelling from Port Orford to Long Beach en route to Seattle. The very nature of the place and the menu couldn't be resisted and boy were we rewarded with a classic American Diner experience. Warning. Do not go here unless you can eat rather large portions of, what can be best described as exceptional food. We had the Hash brown breakfast and the Denver Omelette. The ingredients were fresh and the menu delivered more, much more than we could have expected from such an unprepossessing building. To top it all Amber glided from table to table and along the bar taking orders, delivering orders, pouring delicious coffee and refills and all with a Susan Sarandon style and laugh! What a gem this is and we will visit again for sure. Don't miss out on the surprise that is Mom's Kitchen.

I ordered 2 eggs over medium and german sausage, when Igot my meal the wuites of my eggs were runny again and my german sausage was black on one side and almost burnt on the other. This is not the Mom;s I am use to and I heardtodaythat she sold the restaurant. Does anyone know what happened to the cook I think her name was Jessica?

Small quaint place with very friendly staff, huge portions and great taste! Very reasonable prices and will definitely come back!

We needed some food before our long drive back to Oregon. I knew from the reviews that we might have to wait a while.. and we did. The place itself wasn't very welcoming during our wait, but the food was good once we got it.
