Great friendly place for lunch / dinner in Salem
We had smoked ribs and a pulled pork sandwich. Both were very good. My husband who gets ribs often said they were delicious. Really good prices also. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Wonderful service and great experience
The servers are fantastic people. My elderly Father and I came in for spaghetti and meatballs 2- 3 times a month. Everyone was so welcoming and he loved the food. He recently passed and I want to thank the staff for making our experience there wonderful!!

Overcooked spaghetti and meatballs and slow service in general
I ordered spaghetti and meatballs. It was very disappointing. The spaghetti was overcooked and meatballs seemed dry, hard, and old. I would guess they had been made several days prior and reheated. The sauce was okay. We ordered drinks from the bar and it took more than 10 minutes to get one wine and one beer.

Fun Place!
I don't understand the low rating Masonry Grill gets. We eat here at least once a week during Happy Hour, although we mostly eat off the regular menu. The staff is always pleasant and the food is pretty good. Yes, there are somethings that aren't GREAT but what restaurant is great all the time. The thing I like about the menu is the diversity. Always something new to try and usually I'm not disappointed. If you're looking for 5 star upscale--go somewhere else. This is a neighborhood bar that happens to have darn good food and really nice kids working there.

SURPRISED!
First time to Masonry Grille two weeks ago. Limited menu outside of sandwiches and pizza. Not exactly what we were looking for but I tried the ribs. WOW!!!! I truly believe I’ve not enjoyed ribs anymore than I had that nite. And the Mac and cheese that accompanied was wonderful and very complimentary. That being said…heading back tonite for round #2 with hopes that round #1 was an accident. As for the ribs…large. Not the small baby backs and the bbq was lite, sweet, and not the heavy overpowering tomato base. And oh so tender. I left the Masonry satisfied and plenty full. The only thing that would have added a bit would have been a warm dinner roll and honey butter. That would have add this occasion a 6 star experience. No, I’m not related to anyone connected with the Masonry Grille if that’s where your thoughts are taking you!!
