Was pleasantly surprised to the interior from the ugly paint job on the exterior. It is a charming dining room. The food was excellent and a very pleasant staff. We will be back!

Lucky Elephant is awesome!
Just had lunch at Lucky Elephant. As usual, the food did not disappoint. It's one of my absolute fave thai restaurants in Oregon. Even though I don't live on the coast anymore I still like to come out here whenever I visit. I love their curries, especially the green curry. Today's special was crab fried rice. Delicious!! I think I've had almost every dish on the menu and I've enjoyed all of the food. Everything is authentic and well prepared. And the service is top notch. The ladies that work there are wonderful and always have a beautiful smile on their face when they greet you. Prices are very reasonable also, especially with the cost of eating out going up. I will definitely keep going back to eat here. Thank you to the ladies at Lucky Elephant for a great dining experience! I'll be back!!

Great Thai Food
We used to frequent this lovely restaurant years ago, when we would visit Newport on a regular basis. We decided to pop in and see if it was the same, and it WAS! We love the service and food here! The service is fast but not rushed, and always very friendly. My husband ordered the Spicy Basil Fried Rice, and I ordered Pad See Ew. We also started with Egg Rolls, and ended with the most amazing Mango and sweet sticky rice! The food came quckly and HOT, just the way we remembered, and all of our food choices were delicious! The prices are very reasonable, the service excellent and the food was AMAZING!

Perfect food and service
Yummy food! Friendly service! Needed fast takeout after 8 hours fishing and crabbing. This was perfect! Spicy was just right and young man at front very pleasant. We’ll be back next year!

Reliably good Thai food
This is a great basic Thai restaurant - great food, good service, reasonable prices. The decor is a little shabby, such as patched vinyl on the booth seats. But the food is very good, service is prompt and friendly, prices are reasonable. We were there for lunch on a weekday. Not too many people when we arrived, but more were coming in as we left. I had Red Curry Noodles, my wife had Golden Noodles. Both dishes were very tasty, as is everything I have ever had here.
