The place looks a little run down but the food was perfect. Big juicy burgers (I had a patty melt, husband had a burger and both were delicious) and the best milkshakes. Friendly staff

Great lunch, good music, fine service, clean and friendly.
Always looking for another place for lunch in Newport, right on Hwy 101? Well, we found Flashbacks and will return for more. Their burgers are hand smashed Angus and you can choose 1/4, 1/2, or 1 full pound patty size. They have a myriad of types of burgers, mushroom burger, blue cheese burger, etc. and toppings are listed so you can easily build the burger of your choice. Other sandwiches, patty melt, Club, etc. as well. Hand made shakes or malts are a treat. Our food was delicious, service was great, the place is spotless and inviting in a 1957 Fountain and Grill sort of way. Check it out and it may just become one of your favorites!

The chili was salty and very little flavor but salt. Appears to be barely hanging on. We won’t go back! Don’t recommend this place for eating. Kids we’re having fun on the games.

Can someone check to see if my son still has the high score for the punching bag game? (haha) My son called the chicken strips "immaculate" so that is good. I had a teriyaki burger which was good but the onion rings were pretty bad. They were definitely not fried fresh there and likely bought frozen and cooked. Overall, I'd probably call it 3.5 but not 4. I would say it was more expensive than it was worth, but you are in a tourist area.

Forgettable
Atmosphere is lacking here, and we felt a little uncomfortable while we waited for our order. Some loud inappropriate comments between staff, made my daughter feel uncomfortable but the food was scrummy. Ice cream is SUPER good too, price a little high IMO.
