Blue Water Cafe & Lounge owners, Cathy and Patti, have been in the hospitality industry their entire careers. They decided to open their own restaurant where they serve breakfast and lunch. The lounge offers a full bar and the best Bloody Mary in town (according to Cathy and Patti). You’re sure to enjoy a warm welcome with goodwill, good food, good coffee, and great cocktails.

Just not up to it's usual standard

Have gone monthly for reasonably priced breakfasts. Recently have noticed staff problems and slow service. Today the former staff, who knew us and what we like, are all gone. So, while service wasn't slow, it was lackluster, my biscuit was tough as shoe leather, my husband got maple instead of berry syrup, and we were limited to 1 coffee refill.

Wonderful place to eat. Strawberry pancakes my grandson ordered

We traditionally eat at Matties when in Brookings. This year Matties was closed the morning we were leaving. We went to the Blue Moon Cafe for the first time. Every bit as good or even better than Matties. Great service. An unknown hidden gem. Definitely going back.

Best Breakfast in a long time!

We were traveling thru and needed breakfast, I had eggs benedict, The others in my group had pancakes and loved them!

GREAT Breakfast

Just passing through on our way to CA. and were there on a BUSY Saturday morning. It was worth the wait, I had the bisquits and gravy which were EXCELLENT. My wife had the shrimp benedict, which were heaped with shrimp. We will definitley come back the next time in Brookings.
