Everything at Agave is made in house every day, from their chips and tortillas to their coconut ice cream. They serve fresh food, not fast food. They also offer many vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free choices.

Disappointed with the coconut ice cream! Several years ago we had the best ever coconut ice cream here and since then Have been craving to return to Ashland to again sample the Agave ice cream. Spoke to an employee who informed us the prior chef (who made the coconut ice cream) passed away.

All thumbs up - fresh, made from scratch, delicious
Agave is definitely our go-to place for excellent, fresh Mexican food. It is made with love and care and is one of those rare places that leaves you feeling really good about what you just ate. The owners and staff are warm and welcoming and provide a consistent dining experience (we have recently been there 3 times). We can see how it made it to Guy Fieri’s Triple D list of recommended eating experiences.

The best.
Best Mexican I've had in years. Chili Rellonos, Tacos, beans and rice. All excellent and made with healthy ingredients. Quick friendly service, By far the best we've had here in Ashland.

Highly recommend!
The food is absolutely delicious and healthy! Numerous options and we tried several different meals - all of which were SO tasty! What I liked the most was how fresh and high quality the ingredients used were. Nothing was greasy or oily. Drinks and dessert were all not to be missed either - especially their coconut ice cream, the best I've ever had! Bonus: I asked them if they had any options for my 16 month old and they created a meal of rice and chicken for her - including thoughtfully cutting up all the chicken into bite size pieces! Service was wonderful and would definitely go back!
