Pretty walk and easy trails around.
This was a beautiful way to spend 30-45 mins walking around.

Great place to visit and go for a walk, stretch your legs and enjoy the vista of the Oregon coast
This is great place to visit and go for a walk, stretch your legs and enjoy the vista of the Oregon coast after being stuck in a parade of cars on Hwy. 101. The road up to it is scenic and twisty. Once you arrive there are two different quarter mile walks down to the lighthouse perched on a cliff and you can do them as a loop. The sea air and smell of the trees made it a greta place to recharge and take in the scenery.

Excepcional Experience
Majestic, amazing and peaceful are words that can be used to describe the area around the lighthouse within Cape Meares State Park. The Octopus tree, Big Spruce, the quiet walkway paths and the scenery was simply amazing. Arriving early around 7:00am there was only one other vehicle during the 1-2 hour visit. The only admission was to pay for parking. Overall the experience is fabulous and offers incredible views of the Oregon coast.

Pretty, large parking, paved trail but NOT FLAT
Pretty location. I am disabled, the path LOOKED paved and flat. It is paved. It is not flat. I needed help down and up to the first lookout so not wheelchair friendly or even rollator friendly. There is another lookout (boards and steps) off to the north so maybe that will work for you. Photo is of 1st lookout (as far as I got). They might think about a golf cart for those of us who can't do hills...just saying.

Definitely worth the stop
One of the better lighthouses as you can go inside and listen to the history of this lighthouse from friendly and knowledgeable volunteers. You can go up one level to just below the lenses. You take a short trail down to the lighthouse. Going back to the parking lot we went on another trail that parallels the one we took down. This trail offers views of the ocean and dramatic views of hills that were periodically covered by clouds. Amazing site. Don’t miss the Octopus Tree which is a short trail on the opposite side of the parking lot.
