Disappointed and will not be returning
We have been going here for many years and will not be going back for fish. The service was not as good as it used to be, but the biggest thing was I found three very small fish bones in my fresh bay shrimp. I’m used to finding a shell or two, but not fish bones. It’s worth checking out the location because the trash sculptures are great and the Friday/Saturday market has very few vendors but the cheesecake lady is fantastic! Extremely disappointed in the fish. Fortunately we were able to find some that was fresh and did not have fish bones elsewhere.

Unlikely looking spot for great clam chowder
There is basically a stand up picnic table at this grocery store/ fish market/ Cafe. I hadn't noticed that they sold prepared foods as well as groceries. Grocery store had limited options but fresh seafood. We taste tested a container of clay chowder and bought a couple of containers for dinner. Also bought excellent sirloin for the grill. Good find!

Fresh fish, good wine and wonderful selection of accompaniments
We were thoroughly impressed with Farm & Sea -- we stopped on our way to Port Orford and lucked out with just flown in fresh Alaska halibut. If you are looking to fix a gourmet dinner with wine -- this is your place. The fish counter had a very good selection of fresh fish and an equally large selection of frozen fish/shrimp/crab. They also had local farm raised beef and pork. In the pantry area they had a wide selection of very unique and high quality accompaniments. There is a small produce section, but it was limited. We were so impressed with the halibut the first day, we drive back to get the locally caught petrale sole (halibut was all gone). The staff were extremely friendly and helpful in selecting wine. They take their time with each customer, so if you are in a rush, take a breath and look around! Also, maybe seasonal, when we went on afternoon Saturday, there was a small local farmers market in the main building -- we picked up some local cranberry items and some grilling seasoning.

Fresh Fish, with attitude
We are visiting Bandon and needed fresh fish for dinner. This market had the product. Unfortunately the service was not the most friendly. I would hope that with the high prices we encountered it wouldn't be too inconvenient to be friendly.

Wonderful
This place just keeps getting better. A great market with fresh caught fish, oysters, salads, soups, freezers and shelves full of high quality unique ingredients that you won’t find locally anywhere else. A great place to be inspired!
