The worst experience ever
This place is an absolute crap fest. Staff hides in their trailers and harass people they don't like. This place should honestly be closed down. The rudeness was abhorrent. Bathrooms are a joke, having to turn the shower back on literally every 10 seconds. They actually showed my right year old how to operate their propane firepit! I mean, what idiot does that?! When I returned to gather my mail, I was treated quite rudely and they even stole some of it! As the post office and sender confirmed it was there. So, the mail with gift cards just vanished? How convenient! Dishonest. Snobby. Rude. WE WILL NEVER BE RETURNING TO THAT DISASTER.

Great Spot
Excellent stop. Great location. Super clean. Great access to the city. Fire pit was great. Will definitely will use again this summer. Stopped over after an extremely cold camping up at Mt Bachelor. Bathrooms were clean, and a nice bbq pit we never used. It is city camping, so keep that in mind.

Great vibe
Needed a place to stay in my trailer so I could visit my elderly father in Bend, and found ‘The Camp’. Although it’s not your typical campground…It is centrally located (in the middle of the city .. as noted); mostly asphalt and turf (not grass); it’s clean and very hip. The vintage trailers, fire pit and twinkle lights make the place feel homey. They have coffee made first thing in the morning, and blankets set out on the benches around the fire pit. There is a small-ish, fenced dog station area, but it does the trick nicely. The staff was personable and informative, and Tyler helped me get my space booked easily when I had to add more days to my stay. Note to the noise sensitive… this place is right across from a train switch yard and trains do pass by in the night, all while using their train horns at crossings. By my 3rd night there I was used to it. Kinda cool-ish. The showers/bathroom set up was a first for me and I liked that they are rooms for individual persons and not stalls. The shower water shuts off every 8 seconds so you do have to keep re-pushing the button, but conservation is key. The laundry area was also convenient and reasonably priced and hey!! you don’t need change, you can swipe your cc to activate the machines (but bring your own soap-no dispensers). Easy. Over all I enjoyed my stay at this park and would stay again while in Bend.

Cool concept and incredibly convenient.
When I booked this online I was a little put out by the price as we’ve been staying in a lot of state parks etc. But I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised. The location is very convenient. Checkin is all online so nothing to do on arrival except park. Et voila, Bend is all around you. We rode our bikes most of the time. And The Camp gave us some great pocket maps. The bathrooms and laundry clean and handy. The premises are immaculate and any unsightly items are nicely covered by screens and plantings (ie garbage) and these screens are placed between sites as well. The refurbished airstreams looked amazing. I almost wished we didn’t have our own so we could stay in one of theirs. We will be back!

Jack Johnson Basecamp
This is one a the coolest little RV places we've stayed at. It's clean and spacious with sweet little amenities like the communal fire hangout. The trailers for rent are tight. You want to see how great life can be living that classic trailer life try one of them out for your next trip to Bend.
