They let homeless use the showers
Stayed for 4 nights with friends. Was so thankful that a spot opened up in the main RV park because our friends were in the “annex” where we were supposed to be originally and it’s in the shadows of a motel 6 with unpaved spots and homeless walking through all night. The “main” park wasn’t much better but at least our spot had concrete with weeds between us and our neighbors. The bathrooms were pretty clean except someone with an unclean (poopy) bottom Had sat down on the shower bench just prior to me trying to shower. My husband saw a homeless man collecting cans on our first day there and spoke with the front desk regarding the security of our items (bikes, coffee maker, etc) left out at night. They said he was just collecting cans and not to worry. The next morning, he was taking a 30 minute shower in the guest shower and yelled at one of our fellow campers. He then sat in the laundry room for a couple of hours. No security on site. Very unsettling. Would not recommend except for the beautiful bridge views

We stayed at the Newport Marina and RV Park (NOT THE ANNEX)!
We love this RV Park, friendly, clean, close to everything and a GREAT helpful staff. This park is NOT THE ANNEX! This is the newer park. SUPER CLEAN restrooms and large laundry facilities! You can get out and ride your bikes on black top, go watch the boats coming in each day, walk around and take lots of pictures of bay bridge and the sunsets. We loved our stay so much we are going to spend 5 months next summer!!!

Good spot for preparing for a US20 road trip
Good location for the start of a US20 road trip. Not much more than a place to park for the night though. Pretty average sites and tired restrooms. Easy walk from the RV park over the bridge to the Yaquina Bay Lighthouse. Very handy to the Rogue Brewery and taproom; unfortunately there were no tables free when we called in, so we had to give it a miss! Only a 5 minute drive to the start of US20, which was the big thing for us.

Lovely Stay
Really nice RV park - close to many activities….. This is our second visit. Newport Marina and RV Park is a good jumping off point; from here to can easily walk to the Aquarium. If you’re into cycling, there are bike trails right here that will take you out to the beach. The beach? Yes and if you like fishing or surfing, you’re within walking distance. Canoeing, kayaking, boating, right here! For eats and libations, walk over to Rogue’s Sunset bar or down a ways to Rogue’s brew and food (restaurant). The sites are level, the views are lovely (that bridge at sunset) and you can hear the seals talking to each other. If you need working cable for your television or you require reliable Wi-Fi - this place may not be for you. Both times that we’ve been here, we’ve lacked both of these services. Thankfully we’re happy to disconnect for a few days.

Not very impressed
The older annex part where we stayed has very old utility hook-ups and needed some better upkeep, and the RV sites back up too close together. The newer part is nicer and better appointed, but the sites are still too close together. Wifi is terrible.
