What a dump, scary staff, looks like a junk yard, staff members will try to attack you with their golf carts. We have you on video. We didn't tell you at the time, we to see what crazy things you would do next. My wife and I were turned away for just trying to look at the site, they do not want you to see what they are hiding.
This is hands down the best RV park I have seen yet. The owners are awesome and the location couldn't be more peaceful right on the bank of the Wilson River. The sunsets almost melt in front of your eyes. We have a 38ft fifth wheel toy hauler that was accommodated for easily.
Under new management and a huge improvement in the office! Facilities are cleaned daily and the grounds are maintained well. Dog park and fishing are available in the park, with other attractions nearby. Sites are available beside the river, while monthly rentals occupy the other spaces. Efforts are made to insure that all guests are treated fairly and with respect.
Quiet park, friendly staff, short drive to town. We took our truck and camper with the kids in a tent in the same site. Gravel sites, decent bathrooms and showers. It’s a little bit steep coming down off the highway but there were plenty of big rigs there.
We've driven by on the way to Tillamook several times and decided to book a spot to check it out. The lady at check in wasn't very friendly. She quickly pointed out the rules - 5MPH, dogs on leash at all times, quiet times, etc. Our spot backed in towards the river but next to bathroom/trash/river entrance. We walked the river with the dogs and used the fenced dog area. Our neighbors were nice and place was relatively quiet while we were there. That said, there were some downsides as well. It looked like 3/4 of the campsites were permanent residents with plenty of "stuff" laying around, making the place look rundown. The lawn guy wasn't considerate as he buzzed me a few times while I was getting ready to leave. I was just waiting for something to fly out of the mower at me or my camper. Pros: WIFI, fenced dog area, river access, 5 miles to Tillamook, OR. Cons: WIFI was congested, only 1 way to access river (foot traffic), office staff not very friendly, more permanents than expected, kind of run down (needs some TLC), checkout at 11AM! Different name, same address. Do your own research and decide. Glamping? Now that's funny!
