Wonderful
Best place to stay in Lincoln City. Large rooms, nice deck for sitting outside if on the 1st floor, good light breakfast, new stairs down to long beach, close to Tafy beach and the glass blowing shop. I'm from central Oregon and go to the coast several times a year and West Beach Suites will be my new go to place. It is dog friendly but we didn't bring the dog this time and the rooms were spotless

We loved out stay and will be back!
When we first walked into our room, we cheered when we saw the ocean view, and for the next four days the beauty of the ever changing view of the ocean was there to inspire us! I had originally booked three nights but added a fourth; we didn’t want to leave. Our thirteen-year-old grandson loved it as much as we did. The recently remodeled room was tastefully designed and furnished with a kitchenette that included dinnerware and silverware, and the fold-out sofa provided a comfortable second bed. Breakfast was hearty and provided a variety of protein options as well as pastries. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and we will be back if we visit the Oregon Coast again!

West Beach Suites are the best!
My first time here and it is awesome! Great beachfront location in Lincoln City. I reserved the King Suite with deck - it is ground floor and faces the ocean. Lovely fireplace, comfy bed, clean and well appointed. Dog friendly too! Great service and communication from the staff. Highly recommend!

Now a destination
Service impeccable!!! Greeted by Brandi with a warm smile and friendly hello, then some laughter. View is beyond amazing! Room was clean, comfortable. We got a pet package that was perfect, with towels, poop bags, bowl and some treats. There is a dog park across the street! Neg: the door does not lock automatically when you leave. We did not know that, therefore we left with our door unlocked. Could also use some gluten free items for breakfast. The I room coffee is atrocious. Just give us basic coffee…not banana, coconut, etc coffee. Dark roast would be nice.

Vey disappointing.
My wife booked this hotel, knowing that it had undergone extensive remodeling. We had stayed here years before, when it was known as the West Shore, and enjoyed that stay. Upon entering the room, in needed to use the restroom. The toilet was GROSS. It looked like someone had sat down and basically exploded. Unacceptable. The person in the office came up to clean it herself. W always check hotel TVs, to make sure they're in working order. There were handwritten instructions on a slip of paper explaining the six or seven steps to use it. The first two steps worked, but step three gave us a blank picture with a spinning icon that wouldn't stop. We were unable to go beyond this step. Management said that we should leave the spinning icon for several minutes. We did this, no change. We even left for about a half hour, when we returned it was still spinning. The hotel says that each room has cable, but ours did NOT. When we played with the remote, we were able to find certain shows and movies that were available. However, there are ZERO local channels, and I mean local, as in broadcast from Portland, to see local weather conditions, etc. We are also NFL fans, and were expecting to see several games on the weekend that we stayed here. Since there are no local channels, this means no football. Yes, we come to the coast to enjoy the beach, but we wanted to enjoy the big screen TV with football, while enjoying the great view of the ocean. By the next day, the TV stopped working entirely. We also were expecting a remote-controlled fireplace, which was not there. Management explained that some of the king rooms have this feature and some do not. The website promised this. My wife was very disappointed at this fact. There is not enough parking on site for the number of rooms. If you go to dinner, don't expect to be able to park within a block upon your return. We stayed here for two nights, and housekeeping NEVER serviced the room, no new towels, no replacement of coffee. Bottom line, we will not stay here again, it's not what the old West Shore used to be.
