Villa West Motel

Located in the heart of Florence on the beautiful central Oregon Coast, The Villa West Motel provides a very clean facility with excellent, friendly service. Beachcombing, agate hunting, sand dunes, kite flying, shopping, gift stores, fine restaurants, nature and trail hiking, golf courses, shopping, nearby Sea Lion Caves, and deep sea fishing, seasonal whale watching, nearby Heceta lighthouse and more!. Sea lions, seals, blue heron, seagulls and other birds provide plenty of wildlife to enjoy for the entire family.

Alright for a nights sleep

Reserved a room in the evening through a third party app. It was an extra $25 for a second bed. Total was over $100 for my son and I. At check in the woman was not friendly at all. I was regretting my decision, however the room was dated, but clean. The bed was very comfortable. The floor was bare wood, which is much easier to keep clean in a town surrounded by sand. The shower water pressure was low, so I ended up taking three times as long just to rinse off. There was a bit of noise from the highway/intersection, but since it was the end of the year the traffic died down after 10pm.

I'm grateful the place was available for a good price. The first room we got was right next to(door connected room) loud people and a barking dog, so we requested a refund. They offered the upstairs room, which we initially declined, but graciously came back around and took them up on offer. They legit got mad at us. We have been travelling, so sleeping in a bed was great. They were very very rude at check out time repeatedly knocking and calling us as we were packing up. They were busy cleaning the other rooms at this point, there was no one else in the hotel. They could have been a little sweeter instead of rude and forceful.. there were dirty socks and food under the bed when we got there, when I told the rude woman that they were not ours, she said "dont lie, you havw a lot of stuff ". Cool..cool. I just don't understand why you have to be so rude to people, who paid you money to rest and unwind for a moment.

Don’t waste your time

If you just want to come I may head down it’s ok except for fact no ac room is scorching hot!!! They definitely won’t let you check in even 15 minutes early room was not fully cleaned. There sup to be pet friendly but non place for your pets to potty except an extremely dirty area behind hotel. Just wasn’t to pleased but I guess u get what u pay for! Employees were not nice or friendly at all either probably worst place we have stayed in long time

Good value

Just needed a place to stay for the night while traveling. Stayed in a pet room. Pet fee $20. Room very clean, smelled clean,, vinyl flooring. Bed comfortable, everything in good working order. Flat-screen TV. Fridge +microwave in room. No coffee in room ,but they have coffee in office @7 am. This is an inexpensive, clean place to stay.

Great value

Stayed 2 night in a no smoking king room. Very clean basic room. Comfortable bed.fridge,microwave ,light by bed had plug in for phone charger. This hotel has no amenities but perfect if traveling or resting at end of day. Knowing most hotels on Oregon coast do not have AC, I travel with a fan. In reading other reviews that mention traffic noise my fan (white noise ) blocked traffic noise out. I slept very well. Will definitely stay here again when I'm in this area.
