Don't use the showers
We used the public showers here three times while dry camping at north twin lake. On Monday, just after the doors were unlocked at 9am, we found trash on the floor, beer cans atop a wall, a bag of someone's toiletries on the sink counter and some disturbing brown stains on the wall on one shower. The toilet was a black hole of rust stains. We thought that maybe they just hadn't had time to clean them yet. On Thursday, we used them again and found the only change was the trash can was more full. I asked the two women at the store counter when and if they were cleaned and they assured us that they were SUPPOSED to be cleaned every day, and they would check to see if they were. The brown stains SHOCKED them! Yet on Sunday when we used them again the only change was that there was MORE trash on the floor, and toilet paper around the toilet and the trash was near overflowing. There are other public showers nearby and we'll be using those and doing our last minute shopping there.

The walls are too thin could hear everything from the upstairs from the shower being on to the toilet being flushed and people walking , there was mice on the decking , no hoover or mop included cooker did not work properly kept turning itself off was very hard to Prepare a meal was also no dryer included, neither an outside patio gate which should be provided for young children for the price could be more range other than this had a pleasant stay the view was lovely ,hot tub was good kept the same temperature at all times

Relaxing and perfect stay
We stayed in the RV Park on the water side and it was amazing! Beautiful view from our campsite. A short walk to the water and to South Twin. We hiked around South Twin and also hiked to North Twin and went around it. The campground was clean and quiet. Just what we needed. Staff was very friendly. We will definitely be back.

Great customer service
Labor Day 2022, my son and I were not able to make our trip to the Lake due to local fires. The professional and friendly staff at the resort went over and beyond helping us out. They did and followed thru with everything they said they said they would for us. I highly recommend twin lakes resort for a fun and enjoyable time. I have visited Twin Lakes multiple times and have always had a wonderful time. Dera and Justin

Dirty rooms, with mice running freely in your room at night!
I seldom write reviews as I just don't want to be a "negative Nancy." However, I think it is important to write one for this property. First, let me start by saying the staff was 100% lovely, kind, and wonderful. Everyone but one server (red head) seemed to really like their job, and be so very happy. So this review has absolutely nothing to do with the staff AT ALL! The property/cabins are in desperate need of updating. We stayed in two different cabins during our stay. The outside of the cabin had a HUGE hole in the side of the siding (cabin 3). I mean HUGE hole. Which must be the entry point for all of the mice who call the interior of the cabin home. There was previously chewed gum under the bed on the floor (which you could plainly see, standing back from the beds). The sink was also dirty upon check in. The floors, they had been moped, however, I saw the mop (in the hand of house keeping) and it was literally black. As in, I am not sure the last time they actually cleaned the mop itself? It was pretty gross, to say the least. At about midnight, I started hearing rattling in the kitchen, only to walk out into the kitchen and be greeted with three little mice (Thank GOD they were cute) looking at me and running from the stove to the refrigerator. Not the biggest deal, but they made enough noise to actually keep you up at night. :( The cabin was just dirty. No way around it. Granted you are in the woods, surrounded by dirt. But the interior of the cabin needs desperate updating and a DEEP clean. The furniture is just on it's last legs. Feels pretty bare minimum/ bare bones on the decor side. Like there was just no thought put into the actual interior what so ever. On our second part of the trip we changed over to cabin 12. Again, bare bones. Comforters looked dirty. We moved one bed against the wall to get a little more space in the room, only to find wadded up Kleenex under the bed, with who knows what on it. Obviously they do not clean under the beds in the cabins. Holes, literally large enough at the base of both doors (front and back doors) for mice to easily get in and out at their leisure. Pillows that are truly so flat, it is funny that they even use them at all! Floors were so dirty that even after they were cleaned by house keeping (again with that black mop) that going bare foot on them, the bottom of your feet are jet black. I don't know, I had high hopes. Was blown away by the beautiful view. But it really feels like the cabins are just really sad. They are in desperate need of updating. With such a beautiful location, someone needs to get in there and fix them up. Fix the holes in the doors, the siding of the cabins. Update the interiors. Put some "love' into this place! Most likely will not be back.
