Beautifully situated on high ground overlooking a sandy beach, majestic sea stacks and the Pacific Ocean, Sunset Oceanfront Lodging offers beach access and a variety of accommodations — large and small, rustic and modern. Units west of Beach Loop Drive are 'Oceanfront;' units to the east are 'Economy' (with no view) or 'Oceanview.' Most units have private ocean-viewing decks or patios.

Birthday Celebration

The room was lovely and the view was fantastic. The staff was friendly and helpful. A must see and a great place to stay on the Southern Oregon coast. Indoor pool and spa, breakfast included. Special rates apply through April 27! Restaurant on site for available for lunch and dinner.

Great view of beach, unfortunate that mattress was broken, heater throttled all night, and every step upstairs was heard

Great view, super cute soaps, but when I crawled into bed to find a broken mattress, the love ended. Then between 5-7 am when I heard the upstairs tenants steps sounding like they were coming through the roof, it was time to end the relationship. Would have been more effective at achieving rest, xo to sleep in the car.

Excellent, Friendly Service, Beautiful Spot

We can't say enough good things about Sunset Oceanfront Lodging! When they overlooked my request for a ground floor room (because I'm recovering from a foot injury), the lovely lady at reception gave us a room upgrade. That was so kind! (I'm sorry I meant to remember her name, though I do remember the name. My apologies! Though I do remember the name of her charming canine greeter, Abby.) The room was fantastic with a stunning ocean view, and the Continental breakfast offered lots of choices. All the staff were helpful, including the ones at reception the next morning who kindly checked on raad conditions for us before we left. So kudos to all--and thank you so much! We hope we can stay with you again one day.

Incredible Rooms and Views

Sunset brings you INCREDIBLE views to quaint rooms. Visiting here has become part of my family’s tradition. Seriously, the beach is right there and you can play in it or just…. Watch…. Melt…. Relax…. The staff is super friendly and really made sure we were comfortable.

Wonderful Accommodations on the Scenic Southern Oregon Coast!

This is a very unique family owned and operated property with several choices for accommodations. There is the lower priced original section across the street from the beach (where I stayed), a newer wing right on/above the beach and also several individual cabins on/above the beach. Sunset Oceanfront Lodging is located a couple miles south of downtown Bandon on the most scenic and spectacular section of coastline I've ever seen. Upon my late arrival night front desk clerk Sam was there to check me in. He (along with all the staff) are great! Everyone is professional, friendly, informative and helpful. They even include a printed hi/low tide and sunrise/sunset chart for guests upon checkin. Comes in handy for taking the not too be missed sunrise and sunset photos from the beach and it's numerous seastacks! My 2nd floor room was very cozy with pleasant unique lodge style charm and was clean, reasonably priced and had a fantastic view from the front sliding glass door! Room was well appointed with mini fridge/freezer (unfortunately no microwave - at least in my particular room),very fast and free wifi, tv with nice selection of cable channels and coffee maker with selection of local coffee. Bathroom had standup/sitdown shower and was well stocked with toiletries. Daily breakfast is included and has fresh fruit, yogurt, rolls, toast, juice, coffee, trail bars, etc. You can sit in the dining area to eat or take it to go. There is also an indoor heated pool and hot tub. I can't say enough good things about this place. I will definitely stay here when I return to the Bandon, Oregon area! Had a truly wonderful experience during my 2 day stay. Next time I will stay longer! Thanks so much!
