Beautifully situated on high ground overlooking a sandy beach, majestic sea stacks and the Pacific Ocean, Sunset Oceanfront Lodging offers beach access and a variety of accommodations — large and small, rustic and modern. Units west of Beach Loop Drive are 'Oceanfront;' units to the east are 'Economy' (with no view) or 'Oceanview.' Most units have private ocean-viewing decks or patios.

Our Experience was Good

There are different options for accommodation here. We stayed in the "rustic" duplex, overlooking Face Rock and the beach. The view was wonderful. It was close to beach access and the restaurant across the street was very good. It is a short drive into the old town of Bandon.It includes a continental breakfast and the region is fairly quiet. The bed was comfortable. We were able to bring our dogs to this place. We are planning to return in the future.

Close to the ocean

Spacious with kitchenette, living room and bedroom behind divider. Old building not renovated in a while, had carpet what is not our favourite travelling with a cat. It was clean and it had everything we needed. The room was ground level with a sliding patio door as the entrance. There was no bedside tables, no bedside lights and it was pretty dark. Breakfast was higher end snacks to go.

Comfortable stay with Great Location

Stayed 2 nights during our journey driving the Oregon coast. Outstanding location with great sunsets and beach access. Rooms were a bit small, but comfortable and clean. Great location, wonderful fun staff, nice breakfast each morning. Will definitely stay there again

Old, well worn, clean

It was very worn but clean, however the mattress sagged terribly and the bathroom wall behind the toilet was coming apart. If you are willing to put up with such, it is….okay. Breakfast in the morning at least

Great place to stay

Very helpful staff. Moved us into a beach front room with frig. and microwave. Great place to stay. Clean and well equipped. Nice stairs to the beach and what a wonderful beach. Moved some furniture so we had a reading lamp on each side of the bed. We really enjoyed the walks one the beach. And were surprised at the noise the waves made as they crashed into he rocks. It was calming to sit, watch and listen.
