The resort is located on 16 acres and looks out across the South end of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge, P Ranch and the Donner and Blitzen River. The local area has a abundance of wildlife, along with the variety of birds that call this area home and those that migrate though the area. There are nine different rental units available on a nightly or weekly basis. All the units have a kitchen area, bathroom with a shower and heating and cooling units so that they can be used year round. In addition to the cabins, the Resort has over 38 full hook-up RV sites that are all, pull thru sites. They also have 14 tent sites with grass and shade that include power and water, if needed.

Definitely Find an Alternative
If you are looking to be treated with complete disrespect, and no common courtesy, then this is your place. In spite of the RV sites being significantly overpriced and unimproved, I could have accepted as part of the experience. Unfortunately, the experience was worse than the price. Our customer service experience was terrible, with the host having a complete disregard for the guests, total lack of concern, and was simply rude. I would strongly recommend seeking alternative accommodations, Page Springs Campground is only a few minutes away. I would never consider staying at this "resort" again and certainly would never recommend it to anyone.

Excellent location, clean, great access to local attractions
Great location, sites, property, facilities very clean. Easy access to bird watching and Steens Mt. Loop. Folks running the place very nice.

Great location for exploring the Steens Mountain area.
A good RV park to stay at when you want to explore Eastern Oregon. The pull through sites are very long and spacious. They are gravel and somewhat level. There is a nice office/store and they have a laundry. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is quiet at night. A little bit of grass would be nice, as the sites are pretty dry & dusty. Also beware of the mosquitos. There are a lot of marshy areas and ponds in this area. Perfect breeding spots for these pests. They have full hook ups for your RV and Wi Fi.

Good Place to make camp.
This was our second year staying here. Nicely run roomy campground accommodates campers, tents and a few cabins. Clean bathrooms and showers. Handy little store. Love the book exchange and the laundry facilities. Loads of information brochures and maps about the entire area are super useful. Owners Mark & Debbie are cool people.

Great location, but the mosquitoes are fierce
We booked a two night camping trip here. Loved the location and views. Staff was friendly. Bathroom facilities were clean. The issue was the mosquitoes...they were ridiculous!! So bad, that despite good insect repellent, we spent the entire afternoon and evening in our tent (along with most everyone else...by 9, the resort was silent because everyone escaped in campers so that they weren't eaten alive). They were even out biting in the morning (not quite as bad, but...). We ended up leaving after one night because of the mosquitoes.
