Short vacay
This was a delight! The Ski Inn is wonderfully appointed & since it’s right in the middle of Sisters, you don’t have to work hard to find a great place to eat or find things to do. Sisters is a walkable lovely town. We booked room 103 so had the pleasure of seeing the mountains from our room. The mattress was incredible! Quiet place that we really, really enjoyed. We will return for sure!!

Excellent place to eat
We thought this was a great place to sit and eat right in the centre of Sisters. The Ski Taphouse had a lovely atmosphere and the servers were excellent. I chose to have a brisket sando and my wife had had the pulled pork. I drank the Moose drool brown ale which went down a treat! We would have dined here again but due to a tight schedule we were heading to the coast the following day.

Staff found and returned wedding band!
Excellent location within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Near several hiking trails and gorgeous views. The location of the taphouse was very convenient. The best experience, however, is that staff found my husband's wedding ring in the room after we had checked out. They notified him and, since we were a few hours away by then, offered to mail it to us. We were pleased to see upon delivery via USPS Priority that it was wrapped carefully in paper, inside a bubble-wrapped package, inside a USPS mailer. The honesty and care that staff provided to us was greatly appreciated!

An awesome experience!
We were in Sisters just to explore and needed refreshments/snacks and discovered the Ski Inn. We had the most awesome waiter, Conor, who was beyond friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating! Even though all 6 of us are "senior citizens" he remained respectful and helpful and entertaining!

Unfortunate first visit
Our meal rated as the worst meal we have ever experienced. We ordered the BBQ Platter (Brisket, Wings, Ribs, Sweet Potato Tots and Chips w/ Queso). The brisket was barely passable because it actually had a bit of moisture to it in the center. The wings were the size of cornish hen wings, and so over cooked. The meat was totally crisp to the bone. The ribs were shockingly thin (flat) and all bone, gristle and fat. The celery provided as a vegetable for dipping looked like it was left over bits and pieces from a trimmed stalk and was showing signs of rot (I sent it back to the kitchen, at the end of the meal we received a small discount from the very nice server for the inconvenience) The tots were cold and mushy, tortilla chips bordering on cardboard, and the dips were basic bottled sauces. It became very evident that Ski Inn was using the cheapest lowest quality food products available from their vendor food service company as well as being poorly prepared. Sadly this was our first time to Ski Inn. Great ambiance, good for a beer, but lowest quality food poorly prepared.
