Seaside Lodge & International Hostel is a place to enjoy the crisp sea breeze in peace. The garden is blossoming with fresh herbs for you to use in the shared kitchen. The friendly staff is always willing to assist you to make your stay special. The hostel is located on the banks of the Necanicum Rive and is only a three block walk to the Pacific Ocean for amazing views and seashell hunting. The property is also only six blocks from the heart of downtown Seaside, where you will find good eateries and exciting activities.

Poor management

This place is under new ownership and the worst thing that happened to it.dorm prices jacked up from 20 per night to 59.00 per night,new management profiles the guests and is picky about who they allow to pay for room terrible new management

Scammed Out of my Money

Long story short, a week before my visit, they let me know my room was overbooked and put me in a place with a shared bath instead of a private one like I paid for. They would compensate me with a free night. Well, no one there when I checked out, which was when they had agreed to adjust it. Called the number, no answer left voicemail. Next day, nothing. Called again and left a message. Finally got a call saying they were really busy but would have manager call me. 2 weeks later, I am still trying to get my refund and apparently they are so busy that they do not care about customer service. I have been very patient and polite, but apparently this does not have any effect. DO NOT stay here.

Great place!

I enjoyed my stay here in the female dorm. It was clean, quiet and safe. I wanted to be alone this trip and no one bothered me. If you need social time then you can do that too. The community vibe is very nice! There was a nice fire in the backyard the night I stayed and other guests were using the bbq. I opted to do my own thing though and that was fine too. I'm so glad to have this option for more budget accommodations and will stay here in the future. Very peaceful place.

Pleasant surprise

I booked two nights at this hostel, because of the low cost, not knowing what to expect. I was charmed by what I found. The place, the hostel ambience, the garden, the location. The staff are friendly but respectful of guests’ privacy, the dorm rooms basic but decent and not overbooked, the bathroom spotless, the kitchen well equipped. I will definitely come back!
