Cannon Beach, a beautiful and relaxing place.
My wife selected the Sea Sprite for out trip to Cannon Beach. The outside appearance is a little rustic, but the the room we had, on the second floor, was very nice with a great view of the beach and haystack Rock. Our room, the Sand Dollar Suite #2, had its own stairway to the yard and to the beach. It is also the most affordable beach front property we found. It is located in a less crowded area of Cannon beach which is also nice. There is a bar/restaurant, grocery store and bakery nearby. Finally, if you are interested, you need to Google "the bunnies of Cannon Beach."

Perfection
Kathy, who checked us in was top notch in being welcoming and hands on to make sure that we knew where to park, how to get in etc. There was a handwritten note on the desk in our room congratulating us on visiting our 50th state, Oregon! The location, directly on the ocean, is fantastic. View of the "Haystack" is wonderful and there are adirondack chairs beachside. Kathy went to great lengths to be sure that we had two folding chairs that we could use on the beach, etc. With a short walk on the beach you can be standing close to it. The unit itself was perfect; modern, in excellent repair and self-contained with a kitchenette. We can only hope that we will be able to return.

Incredible
We loved this place. We had planned to do a huge road trip of the Oregon Coast and Central Oregon, and we decided pretty last minute that we should stay at least one night at Cannon Beach. While our entire trip was spectacular and magical, this one part of the trip was arguably the best part. First the view right off the back of the unit of Haystack Rock was absolutely amazing. There are lots of little bunnies that live in and around the units that would pop out that our kids loved interacting with. The host here was super friendly and helpful, had lots of beach toys for the kids to use, and also had firewood for a small fee so we could have a fire on the beach. Being out there was just amazing, and it really made me forget about all of the cares I had before I began the trip. The unit itself was a little small for us and our kids, but all in all, it worked out just fine. We spent so little time inside the unit anyway, and so much time outside and on the beach, that it really was more of just a place to lay down our heads for sleep. It was a bit of splurge, but obviously with the views out on the beach, I think there was good value for what we paid for. All in all, I really enjoyed my stay here, and hope I can return again someday. Thanks to the Sea Sprite for kicking off our Oregon adventure with a bang, and helping us make memories that we will never forget!

The Sea Sprite at Haystack Rock hits many homeruns!
Kathy and the staff here are amazing!! It's so hard nowadays to find genuine caring people who will go out of their way to assure you are taken care of. The staff here went above and beyond. The rooms are extremely clean, with a full kitchen, front ocean views, along with being a very private and quiet experience during our stay here. We're regulars coming around 4-5 times a year to Cannon Beach from Seattle and will only stay at Sea Sprite at Haystack Rock if they have rooms available. Thanks again Sea Sprite staff!

Great for a special occasion trip!
We stayed here on a rainy weekend in early November for a birthday celebration. The place has an unobstructed view of Haystack rock and easy access to the beach. I liked that it was away from the main town of Cannon beach (a 3-minute drive or a 15-minute walk on the beach) but close enough to be able to explore. They were able to do a PNW-themed gift basket for my partner's birthday. Overall, a great place and I'd stay here again.
