I booked and paid for a room late at night. We had a dog that was NOT going into the room, she was to stay in the car. However, the dog jumped out of the car to use the bathroom. Immediately upon seeing the dog, the reception lady came out and yelled very rudely at us, telling us we could not stay in the room and we had to leave. She locked the room door and yelled at us again. We asked for a refund and were told that a refund would be issued. They gave us a number to call if the refund was not processed. The refund was not processed and my credit card was charged in full for thew room (over $100) even though we did not stay there. I called the number and it was absolutely no help at all. None of the options got me to a live person that I could explain the situation to. I called thew motel and spoke to said rude lady on the phone. She says she cannot help me and I need to call that same number. This is infuriating - to be charged in full, spoken to rudely both in person and on the phone, and have no recourse for a refund. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL AT ALL!

They Don't Come Any Worse
I booked a room for my daughter and her friend. On the way to Bend, my daughter’s purse was stolen, which included her ID. I called the company I booked the room through, and they changed the name on the reservation to my daughter’s friend. Simple, I thought. However, the motel wouldn’t accept the name change and ordered them off the premises. The motel staff indicated I’d get a refund, but it’s yet to happen. The staff was extremely rude. Stay there at your own risk.

Arrived to find booking had changed the type of room we had booked. They did not advise us. Desk person offered to upgrade us to the confirmed type room at additional charge...I don't think so. Getting that straighted out took about 30 minutes. Room is ok. Looks to be clean. Bed seems ok. Small ac located under window with so little room between wall and bed I needed to go down on 1 knee with cellphone flashlight on to adjust. We had reserved a kitchenette, not planning to cook but having a fridge is usually nice, a cold beer or bottle of wine. With a kitchenette wouldn't it be expected to have maybe some silver ware and a drinking glass. Nope no glasses....not even a effing paper cup.

I’ve never missed home so badly before…..
Arrived to check in to have a a child tell me he couldn’t check in, waited for the actual employee to show up and checked in. Booked a room with kitchenette and was given a room without one and no explanation or apologies. Appears they double booked our room and gave us what was leftover. Property is an accident in waiting. Barely any room for vehicles to maneuver, they converted one of the drive ways into additional parking space which may result in a drunk driving plowing through your car and the entryways to each unit requires a 6” step; so definitely not handicap nor elderly friendly. While we did not have our service animal with us we were told very thoroughly that no service animals are allowed on property which is against the ADA “ Service Animals are protected under the rules for Titles II and III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). This means that service animals must be allowed any place the public is allowed, including restaurants, hotels, and hospitals.” After being told this we were informed that we were not allowed to smoke while staying at this property; in the room, the parking lot, or on the street. Fridge was not cleaned and contained food from prior guests smeared onto the walls. The rear windows are sealed shut leading to an atmosphere of being jailed in, front and only window to open has no screen, so cannot enjoy the fresh Bend air I came for. Then either out of ignorance or in an attempt to extort guests for additional funds they’ve put oil paintings in the bathroom next to the shower when it’s common knowledge that humidity will destroy them…. Not very hospitable place and if we had an option to rescind and stay elsewhere we would have.

I booked this last minute and was just thankful for a room, but was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness, updated/renovated room, and amenities. I see there have been a lot of negative reviews for this place, but our experience was pleasant. The room was really clean: the towels and linens were spotless and smelled nice. There was also excellent AC, it was quiet, and we had a little microwave. They only provide a little bit of soap, shampoo, and conditioner, but I wasn't really expecting them to provide that. The staff were friendly and this place suited our needs to sleep and clean up after a day of activities just fine!
