Already planning to return!!
A most relaxing adventure in rhe wilderness area of the Rogue River. The updated cabins are cozy and spotless. With the addition of solar power there is no longer a 10pm lights out. Three delicious meals are served family-style in the dining room overlooking the river. Staff are friendly and helpful. In one evening you might see bear, foxes, deer, hawks, eagles and squirrels all from the comfort of your deck.

Great lodge facilities, decent food and a swimming hole!
This lodge had the nicest facilities of the three lodges we stayed at on our raft trip down the Rogue River. The cabins are nice, have electrical power at all times, and the lodge has a great dining hall room and place to hang and play games or kick back a beer or three. The lodge provided dinner after getting off the river and breakfast the next morning. The dinner was decent, nothing to exceptional and breakfast was good (some encrusted French toast, eggs, bacon and more bacon). The grounds are well kept and its a short walk to the property edge where there is swimming hole with a rock to jump off of that is probably 4-5 feet above the water - the water is very, very clear and gives a good but altered view of the bottom, it was a little closer than I thought...nothing too bad, just a bit surprising ---- and be warned end of May, this water was COLD, jump in, try to catch your breath and get out. This place also has a lift facility that will take your luggage from the side of the river up to the lodge grounds (we didn't have so much, so just hauled it up the walkways)...many celebs and a couple presidents have been here apparently, Carter and Bush Jr. This place is accessible via JetBoat running upstream, so it is the end of the "wilderness" area that surrounded the other two lodges we stayed at along the river.

It was Paradise
Heather welcomed us warmly. The accommodations and food were the best of the 3 lodges we stayed at during our hiking and rating trip. Sitting out on the deck overlooking the river was very relaxing and enjoyable. There is a swimming hole on a creek a short distance away, which was great if cold. The rooms were in a cabin removed from the lodge, so very quiet.

Very nice Lodge on the Rogue River
This was a very nice property. This was my 1st time here and was the 2nd night stop for my four Day Rogue River Drift Boat Fishing Trip. Very nice place where several presidents like Ronald Reagan, George and Laura Bush and Jimmy and Roslyn Carter have visited and stayed. The dinner and breakfast that was served was top notch. Great tasting food with really good service along with a full bar. The rooms were very nice. Large rooms nicely furnished BUT their mattresses need to be replaced in my opinion. Just a suggestion since the rest of this fantastic lodge is awesome.

Love, love Paradise
Love Paradise. I have stayed here multiple times over the past 30+ years - paddle in and hike in. This time we used Jerry's Jet Boats out of Gold Beach which was a lot of fun- and better for our aging bodies.. Lovely rooms - not large but all you need a queen and a single bed. Love sleeping to the sound of the river. The food is beyond excellent, staff welcoming and friendly, full bar for the afternoons chilling on the lodge deck. Day hiking as you are right off the Rogue Trail. They are now on Solar so no generator so you can hear the river just about everywhere outside. No road to Paradise so you use the river or the trail - Great deck off the main lodge reading. solitude, or meeting other guests. Paradise is one of my favorite places in Oregon.I wish I could give it 10 stars.
